Border history at Morokulien

Just five minutes from the centre lies Morokulien – a unique peace zone on the border between Sweden and Norway. Visit the Peace Monument (a large stone inscribed to mark 200 years of peace) and the Morokulien Info Centre, with exhibitions on the history of cross-border trade, customs and the friendship between the two countries.
