Check-in & Codes
Järnvägshotellet is an unmanned hotel. After completing your booking, we send a door code and a room code to your email. The code message is sent approximately 1–2 hours before check-in time. Please also check your spam folder if you cannot find the email.
Check-in is available from 15:00. Check-out must be completed by 11:00. As the hotel is unmanned, you do not need to notify us of your arrival time – the door code validity period controls access.
The door code is personal and valid for your booking period – from check-in day at 15:00 until check-out day at 11:00. The code automatically stops working after check-out time.
Check that you are entering the code exactly as shown in the email (no spaces). If it still does not work, contact us using the details in your booking confirmation – we are available 24/7 by phone for urgent matters.
Late check-in is no problem – the code works throughout the night. Early check-in (before 15:00) can sometimes be arranged if the room is ready; contact us in advance and we will help if possible.
Room & Facilities
Yes, breakfast is included in all room types and is served in the breakfast room from 07:30 to 10:00.
All rooms are equipped with bed linen, towels, shampoo and shower gel, Wi-Fi, and a Smart TV . You will also find hotel information, an evacuation plan, and contact details in the room.
Yes, free Wi-Fi is included for all guests. The network name and password are in your welcome email and on a card in the room.
Yes, free parking is available directly at the hotel.
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the premises.
Booking & Payment
Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a fee equal to one night's stay. Cancel via your booking confirmation or by contacting us directly.
Yes, dates can be changed free of charge if done more than 48 hours before arrival and subject to availability on the new dates. Contact us by email and we will help you.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. Payment is made at the time of booking. We do not handle cash payments on site.
Yes, a VAT receipt is automatically sent to your email after a completed booking. If you need an invoice with specific details, please contact us by email.
During Your Stay
Contact details are in your welcome email and on the information card in the room. We respond to messages and emails as quickly as possible – for urgent matters (lock issues, safety-related) an emergency phone number is available 24/7.
Please reach out by email or phone in good time during your stay and we will leave extra items for you. Since the hotel is unmanned, it may take a few hours.
For stays of three nights or more, cleaning is done every other day. For shorter stays the room is not cleaned during the stay, but you are welcome to contact us if you need extra linen or towels.
Since the hotel uses digital codes, you do not need to hand in a key. Check-out happens automatically when your code expires at 11:00. No form or physical check-out is required.
We can arrange luggage storage to a limited extent. Please get in touch in advance and we will see what is possible during your stay.
